SDA: The Coalition of Three gave a helping Hand to Dodik

The SDA believes that the Coalition of Three (SDP, People and Justice – Narod i Pravda NIP, Our Party – Nasa Stranka NS), as they announced, offered a helping hand to SNSD president Milorad Dodik after Monday’s meeting of the ruling coalition at the state level.

They believe that Monday’s meeting of the Coalition of Three, SNSD and HDZ in Sarajevo is a new deception aimed at saving Dodik from sanctions.

“The Coalition of Three, which all of this time created a false narrative about a ‘changed Dodik’ and ‘relaxation of relations’, gave him a saving hand again last night, creating the illusion of his ‘cooperativeness’. This began the realization of the dangerous scenario that the SDA had previously warned about – that the Coalition of Three will pay for Dodik’s false cooperation and temporary de-escalation of the situation with irreparable concessions to the detriment of the state,” they concludedyesterday.

As they stated, we have seen a similar scenario before when the SDP was on the other side of the negotiating table with Dodik, and the most drastic examples are the adoption of the harmful Law on Residence or the withdrawal of foreign prosecutors and judges from the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)according to SNSD’s wishes.

“And this time, instead of being on the court dock and under the sanctions of the European Union (EU), Dodik returned to the negotiating table as a dominant actor. He did not give up any of the anti-state moves he made in the previous period, nor did the Coalition of Three ask him to,” they reminded.

Instead, as in several previous cases, the public is being misled by statements about “historic agreements” and “achieved success on the EU path”, and new concessions will obviously be made to Dodik.

“Last night, the thesis about a ‘harmonised set of European laws’ was successfully presented to the public, without even the participants of the meeting being able to say which laws they were talking about. The public was also deprived of information in which text the laws will be adopted – as requested by the EU or with the SNSD’s amendments, which fundamentally harm the state”, they emphasized yesterday.

As announced by the SDA, the result of all this could be that Dodik appoints the missing Minister of Finance of BiH, to ensure the purchase of a building for the needs of the Indirect Taxation Administration (ITA) from his best man at twice the market price and to reduce the pressure of the international community with false cooperation.
