Search Operation undergoing in the Tax Administration of the RS

Members of the Ministry of Interior of the Republika Srpska have been conducting searches in the building of the Tax Administration of the Republika Srpska since this morning.

The officers of the Tax Administration of the RS, Miloš Janjić, Uroš Zec and Dejan Lazić, expert associates for forced collection, were arrested. The trio was arrested on suspicion of accepting bribes.

The Tax Administration of the RS announced that it supports the activities of the police and the prosecutor’s office to combat corruption and crime, and in connection with today’s arrest of three employees of their Banjaluka Regional Center on suspicion of having committed criminal acts.

“The Tax Administration of the Republika Srpska in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, by order of the Prosecutor’s Office, submits the necessary data and information, and in connection with the work of three employees of the Tax Administration of the Republika Srpska, due to the well-founded suspicion that they have committed criminal acts,” stated Goran Maričić, director Tax Administration of the Republika Srpska, Srna reports.
