The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, told Srna that the situation in BiH is stable when it comes to migrants, but there are indications that their number will be significantly higher.
“I expect the Service for Affairs with Foreigners, as well as other competent agencies, to take all necessary measures,” said Nešić.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Security is in constant contact with the countries of the region from which migrants come and those they want to go to from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Migrants come to us from the EU, and they use BiH as a transit route to go to EU countries,” said Nešić.
According to “Avaz”, the migrant crisis in Krajina is once again taking on the shape of a serious situation, among other things, due to the fact that migrants are transferred by taxi from the reception camp “Lipa” to Bihać, which is closer to the border with Croatia.
The same source states that taxi drivers from all over BiH or from surrounding cities and municipalities come to Bihać and transport migrants to the city, that is, closer to the border.
In Šturlić, which is located between Velika Kladuša and Cazin, members of the BiH Border Police recently found 75 illegal migrants in one house, Srna reports.
