Second memorial competition in climbing titled “Adnan Ćatić Ćata” will be held today at 14:00 in Sarajevo at Babin zub wall.
This competition will be organized in memorial of one of the best climbers of B&H, the founder of the club of extreme sports Red Point, who died in May 2012.
The municipality Stari Grad as the general sponsor, shop “Biž sport” as the sponsor of awards, supported by Mountaineering Association of B&H, GSS Stanice Sarajevo, Harysoft and Sarajevo Pivare enabled the organization of this memorial.
In addition to representatives from B&H, competitors from region will participate as well. The climbing will be organized in couples.
Adnan Ćatić was the first representative of B&H that ever participated in the World Climbing Championship. He was dedicated to that sport. He was one the best climbers in the region.
