Student Loans nap.baErasmus+, EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport, offers opportunities for individuals to study, work or teach in other parts of the world. It also makes the same opportunities available for students from these areas to come to study in at the higher education institutions in Europe. Erasmus+ supports the international exchange of students, academics, ideas and good practice between institutions.

In order to achieve its objectives, the Erasmus+ Programme implements following actions:

  • Key Action 1: Mobility of Individuals
  • Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices
  • Key Action 3: support for policy reform
  • Jean Monnet Activities
  • Sport

Erasmus+ Programme is opened to Programme Countries (Member States of the EU, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey), Partner Countries (Western Balkans, Eastern Partnership countries, South-Mediterranean countries, Russian Federation) and other Partner Countries.

Programme Countries can fully take part in all Actions of the Erasmus+ Programme. Partner Countries can take part in certain Actions of the Program, subject to specific criteria and conditions.

International Credit Mobility part of the Key Action 1 – Mobility of Individuals provides opportunities for students, trainees, young people and volunteers, as well as for professors, teachers, trainers, youth workers, staff of education institutions and civil society organizations to undertake a learning and/or professional experience in another country.

The second round of applications for International Credit Mobility is now open. Most National Agencies are opening a second round of applications under the 2015 call for International Credit Mobility. Applications are limited to those regions for which funds are still available after the first round of applications which closed on 4 March 2015.

This call gives the opportunity to institutions from Programme Countries to apply for funding for mobility projects with higher education institutions across the globe. Partner Country university (including universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina) can not apply directly to the call International Credit Mobility, instead Partner Country university must have an inter-institutional agreement with a university in a Programme Country which will apply directly to the National Agency.

Participating National Agencies include Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom.

Potential applicants should consult their National Agency’s website now to find out with which regions of the world they can apply for mobility projects.

Any higher education institution from Programme Countries can apply, including those that have already secured funding for a given project, and those that did not apply or were unsuccessful in securing funding for the first round of applications.

This second round of applications will close on 24 September 2015 at 12:00 (CET).

The application form will be available soon, but you can already start preparing your application with the mock template.
