policeJoint meeting of directors of the Federal Police, Cantonal Ministers of Interior and Police Commissioners was held at the hotel “Behar” in Gorazde, in the organization of the Federal Minister of the Interior Aljosa Campara.

Report on the security situation in FB&H in the first 9 months of this year was discussed and the Agreement on mutual and operational assistance between the police forces at the level of FB&H has been signed.

This is the Agreement on the operating activities of the police in dealing with a crisis on the territory of FB&H.

“Comparative indicators for the first 9 months of this year are more than good and encouraging in comparison with the last year. This year, we have a lot calmer situation without some ‘tectonic shifts’ in terms of the events which would have the effect of disturbing public order and peace on a larger scale. For the first 9 months of this year, the number of criminal offenses decreased by 14 % in comparison to the previous period, but the fact that is not satisfactory is the situation on roads, where we have increased number of traffic accidents by 6 % compared to the previous year, and these are accidents with serious consequences,” said Dragan Lukac, director of the Federal Police Department.

Aljosa Campara, Federal Minister of the Interior, said that for the first time in the last 5 years the situation is good and not satisfactory, as it used to be before.
