Assistant Professor at the Marketing Department of Economy School of Selma Kadic-Maglajlić (30) is a winner of the prestigious prize awarded by the Institute of Marketing and Management of the University of Mannheim for the best PhD thesis in these areas.
The Institute which specializes in academic research in the field of marketing and management awards a prize for the best PhD thesis that gives the greatest contribution to practice and the academy. Their criteria include academic rigor, but on the other hand, the results of research should be applicable with the aim of improving business practices.
“This year I had the honor to be the winner of a prize which is granted exclusively to PhD students in Europe. People who apply had to defend his doctoral thesis on European higher education institutions. This is important because there are many American universities granting similar prizes and which are oriented towards the America and the whole world. However, thus s is solely European prize for the European researchers, “said Kadic-Maglajlić for the AA.
