iaeste_bih_More than 70 participants from 30 countries gathered at SID (Strategic IAESTE Development) seminar, which began today in Banja Luka, organized by the Association for International Exchange of Students who want to do practical training IAESTE B&H. This seminar is being held for the first time in B&H.

Minster of Science and Technology Jasmin Komić, by opening this seminar emphasized that these kind of gatherings are the opportunity for young people to network, to creative work and to socialize through interactive learning and to practically acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as to entertain.

“My sincere wish is for this gathering to significantly contribute to the development and advancement of the community feeling among young people and to overcome prejudices and especially to contribute to the development of common ideas in order to improve their own position. This will be extremely important for us and for government institutions in terms of future activities and development processes”, pointed Komić.

IAESTE is a distinctive medium that enables students from over 80 countries to get practical training related to their field of study. In addition to allowing students to gain valuable knowledge and skills that can be used upon completion of studies in terms of employment, IAESTE program provides extra advantages as well. This is a great way for universities to recognize qualitative candidates for their phd programs.

Seminar will last until Sunday, 27 April.
