BiH Chamber of Foreign Commerce and BiH Agency for Food Safety will organise tomorrow in Sarajevo a seminar on topic ”Microbiology of Food in the Light of New Regulation”, reports FENA.
New Rule Book on Microbiological Criteria For Food has been adopted on 11 December 2012 by BiH Council of Ministers, and with it criteria for certain microorganism in food have been established as well as rules that business subjects must obey.
Application of new microbiological criteria will ensure high level of food safety and with it high level of protection of consumers.
BiH Chamber of Foreign Commerce stated: ” Concerning the upcoming accession of Croatia to the EU, and that all business subjects that deal with food, must harmonize their plans of control with criteria from the Rule Book on Microbiological Criteria of Food of Animal Origin , we consider that this seminal is crucial for our associates and institutions, in order to facilitate the application of new rules.”
