The Government of Serbia limited the price of a liter of milk with 2.8 percent milk fat to 128.99 dinars until September 30.

Also, a decision was made to ban the export of raw and pasteurized milk, which does not apply to Macedonia and Albania.

As stated in the Government announcement, the Regulation was adopted in order to enable the regular supply of milk to the population and to prevent the outflow of raw materials outside the borders of the country.

By amending the Regulation, the price of UHT milk with 2.8 percent milk fat in a one-liter package is limited to RSD 128.99.

Also, in addition to limiting the price of UHT milk, trade margins are also limited in order to prevent speculative activities on the market – the Government’s announcement states.

They also add that they are monitoring the situation, whereby they will provide sufficient quantities of milk for the needs of citizens.
