International 45th Una regatta will start this Wednesday, and all preparations are already finished. All participants are expecting great fun and adventures on the largest tourist brand of the Bosnian Krajina.

Una regatta is a great manifestation that was recognized in the region and beyond and it guarantees a lot of fun full of adrenaline. Besides adventurous forms of tourism, it also offers a range of cultural and entertainment contents.

The National Park Una is the organizer of this manifestation that will take place from July 26 to 29.

“We want to maintain a tradition of Una regatta in this region, which is dating from 1964. We are expecting between 400 and 700 participants on the 45th Una regatta, depending on the stage. We are hoping for a nice weather and that we will be able to offer the best to all participants and guests through our rich cultural and entertaining program and contents,” said Amarildo Mulic, the director of the National Park Una.

According to the plans of the organizers, a camp with participants will be formed in Martin Brod on July 26, and the official opening will take place in the evening hours, as well as a cultural-entertainment program.

The start of Una regatta from Martin Brod to Strbacki buk, with a break in Kulen Vakuf, will take place on July 27th. All participants of Una regatta will spend the night in the camp at Strbacki buk, where a cultural and entertainment program will be organized for all participants and guests.

The most attractive part of the route will take place on July 28, from Strbacki buk to Bihac, with a break in the village Racic near Bihac. All the participants of the regatta should arrive in Bihac between 6 PM and 7 PM, where citizens of Bihac and visitors will welcome them on the City Bridge. The traditional jumps from the City Bridge will be organized at this site as well.

On Saturday, July 29, the participants will go from Bihac to Bosanska Krupa, with a break in the tourist-recreational center of Hotel Sedra in Cazin. The participants should arrive at Bosanska Krupa in the late afternoon hours, where the final program of the Una regatta will take place. There will be selected the best and the bravest crews, the youngest and oldest participants, Una mermaid, her companion, male Neptun, and numerous awards and recognitions will be handed over as well.
