This year, the residents of Trepče near Tešnj participated in the Peace March “Trepče – Srebrenica” for the 15th time in a row.

Among the residents of this town who walked to Srebrenica this year was a boy, Daris Hodžić. This seven-year-old thus completed his third consecutive Peace March, after participating in the previous two years.

“Daris is my pride. Honestly, as a parent, I am proud that a seven-year-old boy started the journey from Trepče to Potočari for three years in a row. It is really no small thing to honor all the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica in such a dignified way. This is how becomes a great man and becomes a patriot of his country,” wrote his father Husejin Hodžić.
