The patient is in stable general health and is under constant supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team in the semi-intensive care unit, said the director of the General Hospital “Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš” Prof. Ismet Gavrankapetanović, speaking about the condition of seventeen-year-old E.J.

E.J. was seriously injured in a tram accident that occurred on February 12 in Sarajevo, in which 23-year-old student of the Academy of Fine Arts Erdoan Morankić died.

After initially being placed in the intensive care unit, the patient was transferred to semi-intensive care, where treatment continues with continuous medical supervision, a multidisciplinary approach and the implementation of rehabilitation measures.

In recent days, citizens of Sarajevo have been leaving messages of support in front of the hospital, expressing solidarity with the injured girl and her family.
