Several Hundred Soldiers of the United States to arrive in BiH?

armyThe Ministry of Security of BiH is looking forward to the arrival of the Army of the United States who will participate in the training exercise Jackal Stone 2017 in BiH.

The exercise will take place in June 2017. This bilateral exercise will use realistic operating scenario with the aim of improving interoperability between BiH and the USA.

In the exercise will participate about 500 members of the security, government and civil institutions of BiH and the United States. The exercise will prepare participants for the implementation of potential operations with partner forces, and inter-resource organizations through the exchange of tactical and doctrinal knowledge.

BiH and the United States are working together in the sector of security, and they welcome this opportunity for further strengthening of these relations by increasing their level of interoperability as partner countries with the aim of a better response to potential security issues. Although the scenario of exercise is designed to reflect relevant security challenges, it has nothing to do with realistic events.

Local officials approved all related activities and maneuvers in order to ensure the safety of citizens if BiH, as announced by the Ministry of Security of BiH.

Jackal Stone 2017 is part of the Program of joint training and exercises of European Command of the Army of the US, and it is aimed at improving interoperability with allied and partner countries, and support to ongoing operations.
