PRIKUPLJENO VIŠE TONA ODJEÆE U NOVOSARAJEVSKOM "ORMARU" I ŠKOLSKIM KONTEJNERIMA U HADŽIÆIMACitizens of the Canton Sarajevo recently could donate their clothes and shoes in two places, so that these clothes could be distributed to those in need. A large amount of clothing and footwear has been collected so far at the Center for Healthy Aging in Novo Sarajevo, where is located “Your new closet” and at the yard of High School Center Hadžići, where are placed the humanitarian containers for collection of clothing and footwear.

A new workshop titled “Your new closet” opened at the Center for Healthy Aging in Novo Sarajevo, on 21 March, with the aim of collecting clothes and the further distribution of clothing to the socially vulnerable groups.

“Since “Your new closet” opened on 21 March, a large amount of clothes, toys and jeweleries are collected. The citizens interest is great to support this project and our shelves are full of clothes”, said for Agency Fena, the Manager of Center for Healthy Aging Novo Sarajevo Minela Ferić.

The list of beneficiaries of the “closet” of Novo Sarajevo Center for Healthy Aging is composed.

The humanitarian containers at the yard of the High School Center in Hadžići, where citizens can collect clothes and shoes for socially vulnerable people are set in November 2013.

“After having set the containers, we forwarded the clothes at the premises of Red Cross, but that seemed to us as inappropriate, thus we have equipped one room in school for this purpose. Now, students take the clothes from the containers and sort them in the school room”, said for Agency Fena, the Director of High School Center Hadžići Misim Gegić.

He added that students distribute the clothing to citizens who come to the school for help, and clothes which they do not distribute are forwarded to the Association of citizens “Dobro scre”, which so far has received several tons of clothes.
