Last night in Multiplex Cinema City, the world premiere of the documentary film ‘Patient’ by Zdenko Jurilj took place. The documentary is in the competition program in the category of documentary film.
The film is a narrative documentary program on the state of patients before, during and after heart surgery. The film portrays the state in which every person can end up.
‘Patient’ is inspired by Kant’s thought ‘What can I know? What do I have to do? What can I hope for? What is a man? This documentary movie was done in production with Tomislav Bubalo from the Široki Brijeg production house Kadar. The cinematographer is Antoni Ćorić, while editing was done by Tomislav Topić.
After the screening of the premiere, ‘Patient’ will have its Herzegovinian premiere at this year’s Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg from 26-31 August.
This documentary film lasts 24m minutes, and with the film ‘Rob’ by director Pjer Žalica, is the only representative from B&H in the competition program in documentary films at the SFF.
‘Kadar’ said that in addition to the Sarajevo Film Festival, there is interest for this film by several larger film festivals in Europe and in the world.
