Shock in the royal Family: The Son of the Princess admitted that he assaulted his Girlfriend

Norway’s royal family is rocked by scandal after it was revealed that the future king’s son has been accused of assaulting his 20-year-old girlfriend.

Marius Borg Hoiby was arrested last week and spent 30 hours in custody, and faces a year in prison. His girlfriend was hospitalized with a concussion.

The 27-year-old has now admitted his guilt and issued a public apology to the girl.

”Last weekend something happened that should never have happened. I committed bodily injuries and destruction of objects in the apartment in an intoxicated state after an argument and cocaine. I have several mental disorders and long struggle with substance abuse, for which I have been treated in the past. Drug use and my diagnoses do not excuse what happened. I want to be held accountable for what I did, and I will give an honest statement to the police. The most important thing for me is to say sorry to my girlfriend. She didn’t deserve what happened that night, nor the extreme pressure from the Norwegian and foreign media after that,” he said.

He then apologized to his family, who were greatly shaken by this unfortunate act.

The Norwegian royal family did not comment on the case, and the Norwegian media previously published photos from the apartment where the incident took place. The photos show a knife stuck in the wall and a broken chandelier, Klix.ba writes.
