Shoes of Tea Petrović among models of world designers in New York

cipeleIn the museum of Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, an exhibition of shoes by famous designers has been opened, and among designers such as Lady Gaga, Tea Petrović from Sarajevo exhibited her shoes. ‘At this exhibition, there will be four pairs of my shoes. I got the invitation from the FIT Museum. The exhibition of the collection was realized in 2009’ ,said to klix.ba Petrović. Thirty year old Petrović was born in Sarajevo where she finished Art Academy and her diploma paper was the exhibition of handmade shoes which made a huge international interest, and apart from shoes she designs jewellery. Exhibition called ‘The Obsession with shoes’ was organised by Museum’s curators Valerie Steele, Colleen Hill and Fred Dennis. One hundred and fifty pairs of shoes of the most famous designers were exhibited, among them Lady Gaga. The exhibition will be opened by 13 April.
