Workers of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas of Sarajevo Canton, in coordination with the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Canton Sarajevo, under which it operates, removed the sign with the inscription “City of 157,000 Serbs who had to leave Sarajevo” at the entrance to Sarajevo.

As Minister Almir Bečarević explained, it was established that the board was illegally placed on the territory of the Sarajevo Canton, i.e. protected areas of the CS.

“In the last seven days, we checked everything, the coordinates were downloaded and it was established that the board is located within the territory of Sarajevo Canton, that is, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The CS MoI and inspections have established this,” Bečarević stated, as reported by the CS Press Service.
