A significant contingent of EUFOR reserve forces is arriving in BiH during the month of August, as part of preparations for the upcoming “Quick Response-26” exercise.
As Klix.ba learns, the arrival of the first troops is expected in the middle of the month, and this year’s EUFOR exercise begins on August 22 and will last until September 3.
According to the previously determined plan, part of the forces will arrive in BiH via the port of Ploče, after which they will be transported further by land.
Because of these activities, a more intensive air transport towards Sarajevo Airport is planned, where due to the number of reserve forces, part of the troops will be deployed throughout BiH, that is, at the locations of the Armed Forces of BiH.
As Klix.ba learns, this year’s “Quick Response” exercise should have a changed scenario compared to the previous ones, which is why the arrival of paratroopers from Italy is expected.
EUFOR assures that the more intense military traffic refers to preparatory activities for the implementation of this exercise, which raises the operational capability of the forces from the Multinational Battalion to a new level.
The exercise will take place in several locations with the logistical support of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which further confirms the partnership and support to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
