Regarding the project on the Sava River, Jusko said that during the visit to Paris he also got in touch with the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transportation and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia Oleg Butković.

“We have agreed to meet in Neum already next week, where we could probably sign the agreement on the beginning of construction of the bridge on the Sava River in Svilaj. This is one of the most important projects for us this year and that is the continuation of the Corridor 5C. The funds are provided and it is in everyone’s interest to launch this project as soon as possible,” said Jusko, adding that he will also talk to Butković about all activities related to the construction of the Pelješac bridge.

In addition to the Corridor 5C, Jusko considers the access infrastructures especially important, given that access roads have special importance.

“It is important to connect the larger cities from the RS, FBiH and the Brčko District with the Corridor 5C and the Adriatic-Ionian highway that is especially important because it connects Italy and Greece via our country,” Jusko said.

The meeting of the Western Balkan leaders and leaders of the European Union was held in Paris on Monday, and the construction of the connecting traffic and energy infrastructure and youth programs in the Western Balkans were the key topics of the meeting.

Jusko said that the meeting in Paris went better than expected and that on this occasion the framework draft of the traffic strategy of BiH was presented to the representatives of the European Union.
