The automotive industry in our country is getting more and more developed and it became one of the driving powers of BH economy. An increasing number of BH companies is cooperating with the world’s automotive giants, and now they want to get engaged in the manufacturing of parts for electric cars as well.

That is one of the items of the strategic document called “Development of the Automotive Industry of the FBiH”.

This document includes the opening of an office in Germany, whose main goal is making contacts with the local companies there, and the Development Office will be opened at the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH as well.

The main goal of this joint project is the improvement of the automotive industry through systemic increase of competitiveness of the domestic economy.

One of the goals for the domestic automotive industry to make the conditions for winning more complex components of electric cars, which would result in opening of new workplaces and the increase of exports.

When we consider the fact that BH companies already have contacts with world’s giants in this field of industry, as well as huge references, there is no doubt that BiH can get seriously involved in the electric vehicle industry, which is experiencing great expansion.

Currently, more than 10,000 people are working in the automotive industry and annual growth is recorded in the exports of automotive industry. The total export of BH automotive industry in the year of 2016 amounted to 734 million BAM.
