Signing of Records on Damage in B&H Archives Today

arhiv_stetaExperts of the Central Institute for Restoration and Conservation of Library and Archival Heritage (ICRCPAL) in Rome Eugenio Veca and Maria Carla Sclocchi, Director of the B&H Archive Šaban Zahirović and Deputy Director Dušan Vržina will sign in Sarajevo today the record of the damage caused from the fire on 7 February in the B&H Archives. The signing will be attended by the Ambassador of Italy to B&H Ruggero Corrias and the Head of the UNESCO Office in Sarajevo Siniša Šešum.

This document will include recommendations for keeping safe and restoring the damaged material and the B&H archival heritage.

ICRCPAL also put at disposal the training of local specialists for implementation of the recommended measures, announced the Embassy of Italy to B&H.
