Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday conducted searches of residential and auxiliary facilities and mobile homes at two locations and arrested one person suspected of the criminal offense of Terrorism.

As reported by SIPA, according to the information gathered, the person deprived of liberty published a video on his Facebook profile, in which he is present, and introduces himself as Edin Podgora and says that “he started killing infidels and Jews, and enemies of Muslims and says that will kill with the knife seen in the video, as well as with a gun of unknown make”.

“After the deprivation, the person was taken to the premises of SIPA radio criminal processing and interrogation as a suspect. The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will determine the further status of the person. During the searches, temporarily confiscated items that can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings were discovered, namely two mobile phones, a knife and a gun that is suspected to have been used in the video, and which was determined on the spot not to be with a real firearm,” SIPA said.

The aforementioned activities were implemented in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ZE-DO Canton.
