Members of the SIPA Investigation and Protection Agency today arrested three persons in the area of Mostar and Stolac due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.

Operation “Stočar” was carried out by order of the Cantonal Court in Mostar, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Sipa announced.

During the search of residential and auxiliary premises and movable property at three locations, SIPE police officers discovered and temporarily confiscated three kilograms of marijuana, 40 grams of cocaine, and a precise measuring scale.

A hunting rifle, 41 pieces of ammunition, money, as well as other objects that can be used as evidence that the above-mentioned criminal offense was committed, were confiscated.

After criminal processing and questioning as suspects, the arrested will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.

Activities are carried out in cooperation with members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
