Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person in the Sarajevo area today, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that organized crime and illicit traffic in narcotic drugs were committed.
The arrested person was taken to the premises of SIPA, for criminal processing and questioning as a suspect.
During the search of the passenger motor vehicle, thirty-eight packages of narcotic drugs were discovered and temporarily confiscated, which by their appearance are associated with the drug “Cannabis”, SIPA announced.
The search was carried out on the basis of an oral order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the Federal Police Administration and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Indirect Taxation Administration of Bosnia and Herzegovina and SIPAs.
