SIPA Police arrested Thirteen Persons suspected of Organized Crime in BiH

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) continue to carry out the operational operation “Fugitive”, within which 13 people have been deprived of liberty in the area of ​​Bijeljina, Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spionica, Pelagiceva and Orasje.

They were arrested due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses “Organized Crime” in connection with the criminal offense “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics” from the Criminal Code of the Brcko District of BiH, SIPA announced.

During the previous investigations in the case codenamed “Fugitive”, SIPA police officers discovered and temporarily seized 82.76 grams of the narcotic drug “cocaine” and 27.19 grams of the mixture, and 5936,012 grams of the narcotic drug “marijuana”, three crushers, one scale, 170 pieces of hemp seeds, 105 pieces of tablets, ammunition – 82 pieces, six hand grenades, two passenger motor vehicles, 21 mobile phones with SIM cards, signal jammer, 1515 EUR and 1500 BAM as well as other items that can serve as evidence in criminal proceedings.

The persons deprived of their liberty were taken to official premises, and criminal proceedings are underway against them, SIPA stated.
