Yesterday, a total of 25 cadets passed a solemn oath to the Minister of Security, Dragan Mektic in the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in East Sarajevo, with which they officially started working in SIPA as the younger inspectors.

Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektic stated that cadets should be proud to be part of SIPA now, which has become the leading police agency with a respectable reputation thanks to its hard work and achieved results. He also emphasized that citizens trust in SIPA, as well as that a big challenge is ahead of cadets, and that a lot is expected from them.

“Be consistent in law enforcement, brave in fighting crime and performing police duties. There must not be anyone untouchable in your future work,” noted Minister Mektic.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director of SIPA, the heads of the basic organizational units and directors of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the Agency for Training of Personnel and the Agency for the Police Support of BiH, as well as the Head of Cabinet and Deputy Director of the Border Police of BiH.

The Minister of Security of BiH to SIPA handed over the Award for special efforts and achievements in the past period to officials of SIPA. Minister Mektic handed over the golden police badges to six police officers of SIPA.
