Six Bronze Medals for BiH on the Balkan Karate Championship

Karate Balkan ChampionshipKarate national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has won six bronze medals at the 17th Balkan Senior Championship in Cacak in Serbia.

In the competition of 320 competitors from 11 countries, medals for BiH won the men’s and women’s team in fights, women’s team in katas, and individually Admir Zukan in the category of more than 84 kg (KK Nokachi, Sarajevo), Meris Muhovic in the category up to 84 kg and Anes Congo in the category up to 75 kg (both from KK Sampion Ilidza), writes FENA Agency.

In the overall ranking of countries, BiH won the 5th place by the number of medals won.

The Balkan Championship was one of the last check before the European Championship, which will be held in Istanbul from 19th to 22th March.

This competition will, at the same time, be a qualification for the performance at the First European Olympic Games in Baku, which will be held from 12th to 28th June 2015.
