Six Dead and Several Injured in a Fire in Residential Building in BiH

In the fire that started in a residential building in the Brcko settlement of Suljagica sokak, in Mostarska Street, six people were killed and several were injured.

The injured were transported to the Brcko hospital, where they were treated.

“We currently have no information on the severity of the injuries. According to unofficial information, during the intervention, firefighters rescued four children on the first floor of the building,” police said.

The fire happened this morning around 7 o’clock, it was not of greater intensity, and it is suspected that the injuries and deaths were the result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The cause of the fire is being determined.
