Sixteen Percent less Tourist Arrivals in Federation of BiH

The total number of tourist arrivals in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in April 2021 was 20,764, which is 27 percent more than in April 2020, and compared to March 2021, less by 16.7 percent. The share of domestic tourists was 58.2 percent, and foreign tourists 41.8 percent.

The total number of overnight stays in April 2021 in the FBiH was 42,502, which is 10 percent more than in April 2020, and compared to March 2021, less by 16.8 percent. The share of domestic tourists was 51 percent, and foreign tourists 49 percent.

In the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, most overnight stays were realized by tourists from the United Arab Emirates (24.6 percent), Serbia (16.1 percent), Croatia (12.3 percent), Turkey (5.6 percent) and Montenegro (3,7 percent), for a total of 62.2 percent. Tourists from other countries realized 37.8 percent of overnight stays.
