Ski Resorts and Hotels are full: Tourists enjoy BH Mountains

jahorina-mountainAlthough the beginning of winter was not promising, considering that the mountains are almost without any snow, hosts at Jahorina Mountain are satisfied. Tourists took advantage of the New Year holidays to enjoy the snowy idyll, and thanks to the snow which fell on Friday, it is possible to ski on some trails.

As tourist officials said, all capacities are completed,and besides Bosnians, mainly tourists from the region, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia decided to stay on the mountain.

Tourists from Zagreb said that they came on Jahorina for three days and they are delighted with this mountain.

There are currently 30 centimeters of snow on trails, and in the function are the ski lifts Poljice, Baby lift, a six-seater Praca, and six-seater Poljica is in operation for sightseeing.

On the Olympic Mountains Bjelasnica and Igman is sunny as well. Snow depth measured on Bjelasnica is 11 centimeters, while on Igman is one centimeter less.

Temperature on Babin Do on Bjelasnica is – 6 °C, and on Malo Polje on Igman -7 °C.

BX and K1 lifts will be operational in Babin Do, while the three-seater lift will be put into operation for sightseeing.

On Malo Polje on Igman, in function are three baby lifts, according to the website of PUC ZOI’84. Night skiing is in function from 9 pm.
