The Ski Season on Jahorina Mountain started, Visitors enjoyed skiing

Skiing on Jahorina has officially started, which made winter sports fans, especially the youngest ones, very happy.

There is more than 40 centimeters of snow on Jahorina, and the average temperature at this Olympic beauty is – 9 ºC. The team of OC Jahorina already prepared the Poljice trail, and skiers decided to use the first snow and free Sunday to enjoy it.

Director of Technics and Ski-Trails in the Olympic Center “Jahorina”, Bojan Cupovic, stated that trail-makers are currently functioning and that trails are technically secured, according to safety standards.

For the first days of the ski season 2017/2018 until the end of the Ski Opening event, there will be a 70 percent discount on half day, one-day, two-day and three-day tickets, which will be used during the period from December 3rd  to December 17th 2017. Tickets can be purchased at a cashbox at the Bistrica hotel.

We remind you, the prices of Jahorina tickets are more expensive this season than last year. The price of the season ticket for the period from Monday to Friday is increased by 200 BAM for adults and costs 500 BAM, and the price for the season ticket for all days (from Monday to Sunday) is increased by 180 BAM and costs 900 BAM. The prices of the children’s season tickets remained at the level of last year’s 200 BAM and 400 BAM.

Ski fans launched an online petition against this drastic price increase, for which Director OC Jahorina Dejan Ljevnaic said was the only move to ensure the sustainability of the center, due to accumulated financial losses.
