Slovenia, Germany and Qatar to employ 7,100 People from BiH?

sarajevo(37)The Labor and Employment Agency of BiH has prepared the preliminary draft of the work program for 2017, which states that priority will be given to international agreements in the field of employment.

So the focus will be placed on the implementation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on employment of BH citizens in the Republic of Slovenia. About 3,100 workers from BiH are expected to be employed in 2017.

Moreover, the implementation of the Agreement on Mediation for employing BiH workers in the Federal Republic of Germany on jobs of caregivers and the implementation of employment of workers of other professions from BiH, is planned as well. Employment of at least 2,000 workers through the Agency for Labor and Employment and registering them in the service and in the institution of employment in BiH is planned, based on the Regulation of the Federal Republic of Germany on the labor market liberalization for Western Balkan countries for the period 2016-2020.

They will also access the implementation of activities on the realization of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Republic of Serbia on the matter of temporary employment of BH citizens in the Republic of Serbia and citizens of the Republic of Serbia in BiH, but the number of people that could be employed has not been specified.

According to the Agreement, which was ratified in June 2016 between the Council of Ministers of BIH and the Government of Qatar in 2017, employment of at least 2,000 people from BiH is expected in the Qatari companies.

According to records of the Agency, there were 518,857 unemployed persons in May 2015.A total of 373,378 persons in the FBIH; 133,979 in the RS and 11,500 in Brcko District.
