Slovenia: One citizen of B&H killed in the Pileup Crash

Crash Slovenia rts.rsOne citizen of B&H residing in Slovenia was killed in the pileup crash on the coastal highway in Slovenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H confirmed.

Head of the Public Relations Office of the Ministry Nebojša Regoje said that the Embassy of B&H in Slovenia received this official information from the General Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovenia.

In the coming days, the Embassy of B&H will offer necessary assistance to the family of the killed and stay in contact with official entities in order to, eventually, get information on other citizens of B&H who might have been participants in the crash.

The crash happened yesterday around 2 p.m. when around 70 cars crashed, including four trucks and a bus. The crash happened on the coastal highway, between the junctions Senožeče and Nanos in the direction of Ljubljana.

According to the latest data, four people were killed in the crash and around 30 were injured.

This is so far the most severe crash in Slovenia according to the number of vehicles.
