Kenan Kovacevic, a person with Down syndrome, will be in vocational training without establishing an employment relationship in the Municipality of Ilidza.

As it was said from this Municipality, Kenan graduated from the High Technical School of Graphic Design and Multimedia Technologies in Ilidza. He is actively involved in swimming and wins medals at international competitions.

They pointed out that he expressed his desire and interest to gain his first work experience in a photocopy shop in the Municipality of Ilidza and signed a contract for the next six months.

Mayor Nermin Muzur from People and Justice Party – Narod i Pravda (NiP) hosted Kenan at his workplace and welcomed him on the first work day.

“Kenan sent a request and expressed a desire to get his first work experience in the Municipality office and it was not at all questionable for us to fulfill that wish. Through legal mechanisms, we have enabled Kenan to be in vocational training for the next six months without establishing an employment relationship in the Municipality of Ilidza and in that way to gain the necessary work experience. He is a very cheerful, smiling, and hard-working guy and we are really looking forward to working with him in the upcoming period, “ Muzur stated.

”Kenan stressed that he is looking forward to having the opportunity to work in the photocopy shop, he is ready for the next work victories, and he hopes that he will live up to expectations, ” it was announced by the Municipality of Ilidza.
