The Helicopter that was allegedly carrying Iranian President experienced an incident during Landing

Rescuers in Iran are trying to reach the helicopter that apparently was carrying the president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, which experienced what the Iranian media describes as an “incident”.
So far, there is no explanation of what happened to the helicopter, nor who was in it. Semi-official news agencies offer different explanations for what happened.

Raisi traveled to the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan. State TV described the incident as taking place near Jolfa, a town on the border with Azerbaijan, some 600 kilometers northwest of the Iranian capital Tehran.

Raisi was in Azerbaijan early Sunday to inaugurate the dam with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Iran flies a variety of helicopters domestically, but international sanctions make it difficult to obtain parts for them. The military air fleet also largely dates from before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Klix.ba writes.
