Members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (GP BiH) Gradiška arrested D.K. (1960), after he was prevented from smuggling five citizens of Syria.
Smuggling was discovered in the border zone in the Gradiska area during the control of a Hyundai passenger motor vehicle, Bosnia and Herzegovina. registration marks, and in which D.K. transported the mentioned foreign citizens, the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported.
The prosecutor on duty of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office was informed about the incident, according to whose order the suspect was arrested and the vehicle and other evidence were temporarily confiscated.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will submit a Report on the committed criminal offense of human smuggling against the suspect. Foreign citizens were handed over to members of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of BiH for further processing.
