plato_skenderijaDuring last months of 2016, the finalization of work on the stairs and completion of the reconstruction of the plateau Skenderija in Sarajevo was done.

To recall, the reconstruction of the plateau included a change of waterproofing, removal of old panels, works on the steps and the final plateau.

Funds for the reconstruction of the plateau is provided by the Government of Sarajevo Canton through the Development Bank in the amount of 904,000 BAM.

Plateau Skenderija represents an iconic town square that connects all the objects of center Skenderija including the Youth House, Art Museum of Contemporary Art Ars Aevi, Economic city, Mirza Delibasic Hall and the Ice Hall.

New facilities should make this an area of 10,000 square meters to be recognizable in the city again.

How this part of Sarajevo looks like one can see in the video here.
