Small Grants Program “Be the Change!”, Solemnly Allocation of Checks for 15 Organizations

budi_promjenaThe solemnly allocation of checks in the amount of 75 000 KM for 15 organizations which will make the campaign in the public advocacy in the local communities and in the framework of the Small grants program “Be the Change!”, will be held today in Sarajevo.

This program is financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden, and implemented by the Centre for promotion of civil society (CPCD).

The small grants program (PMG) is focused on the empowerment of the citizens all over the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina with the emphasis on the civil society organizations and informal citizens’ groups. Their aim is for them to, with active activities, to become the real carriers of the changes in the local communities in which they live and work.

The press conference and solemnly checks allocation will be held today in Sarajevo, and Mario Vignjević, program manager in the Embassy of Kingdom of Sweden – Swedish Development Agency SIDA, will address to the media. Moreover, Aida Daguda, director of the Centre for the promotion of civil society, Dragana Grbić-Hasibović, project manager and representatives of the organizations to which the grants will be allocated.
