Heavy snowfall has caused traffic problems in the Una-Sana Canton (USK), with the most critical situation on the Ključ-Sanski Most regional road.

“Local roads are still passable, but the situation is serious. If this continues, we could have bigger problems. Machines have already been sent to critical locations, but the situation is not yet alarming. As for the main road Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac, the road is passable, but traffic is difficult. The police are warning drivers who do not have winter equipment to be at risk of driving,” said Armin Čahut, head of the Development, Economy and Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Ključ.

Snow is still falling in Bosanski Petrovac, but with a tendency to stop.

The situation is under control, and the roads are passable.

“The teams that maintain the main roads are on the ground. The situation in the city itself is stable, with no reports of problems, and the electricity and water supply is in order,” confirmed the head of the Bosanski Petrovac Civil Protection Service Rifet Gutlić.

The Sanski Most Police Department states that all roads connecting the city with other places are passable, but drivers are advised to exercise maximum caution due to snow on the roadway and to use winter equipment, Fena writes.
