Fans of winter sports, as well as all those who decided to stay in the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) mountains this weekend, can finally enjoy the winter idyll thanks to the snow that has been falling since yesterday morning.
The formation of the snow cover began with the precipitation two days ago, which, except for the mountains, whitened the streets and cities throughout BiH.
Nevertheless, a real winter idyll can be felt at higher altitudes and mountains that until a few days ago were bare due to the appearance of spring-like weather. However, January still ”didn’t betray” and brought with it snow and low temperatures – appropriate for this time of year.
Moreover, Bjelasnica was covered in snow yesterday, and a large number of skiers and all those who enjoy winter by doing some seasonal sport are noticeable. They were apparently not bothered by the blizzard that created real snow drifts.
Meteorologists also predict cloudy weather for today, mostly with snow or sleet. Rain in the south of the country. More precipitation is expected in the afternoon and evening hours. The lowest morning air temperature will mostly be between -4 and zero degrees, in the south from three to six. The highest daily air temperature will be between -1 and three, in the south from five to ten degrees, Klix.ba reports.
