Solar chargers for mobile phones and portable computers were placed in the center of Bijeljina and in the city park on Monday, 27 May.
The solar chargers were part of a project that was realized by the city of Bijeljina and municipality Bogatić in Serbia as part of a program for cross-border cooperation.
The official opening is planned for Thursday, 30 May.
The solar charges are made out of a metal construction with solar panels on top. With the use of the sun as a source of energy, people will be able to charge their mobile phones and portable computers.
