In the village Krnjeusa, near Bosanski Petrovac, a few days ago, the largest solar power plant in the Una Sana Canton (USK) was opened, and the total value of this investment was 720,000 BAM.

The project investor is a company “RSV Energy” from the mentioned municipality and the production capacity of this energy facility is 150 kilowatts with an annual electricity production of 219 megawatt hours.

According to Aleksandar Stanivukovic, director of an investor company, this solar power plant is spread over an area of over 1,600 square meters and makes 1,200 installed solar panels, adding that several more similar projects are planned.

The Head of Bosanski Petrovac Dejan Prosic emphasized that local authorities have been supporting the realization of this successful project since the beginning and that this cooperation is the best example of how the public sector can successfully monitor the needs of private capital and investing in the local community.

Minister of Economy of the Government of the USK Nijaz Kadiric welcomed the realization of this project, saying that it is very important for the exploitation of renewable energy sources and that there will be no disturbance of the natural environment, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
