Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sergeant Asmir Tufekčija and Corporal Eldin Boloban helped injured persons after a traffic accident in which one person died.

The accident happened on the road section between Mostar and Jablanica, more precisely near the Selakovac tunnel, when a truck and two cars collided.

Due to the force of the impact, the truck caught fire, and unfortunately one person lost his life in the accident.

What is worthy of all praise is the gesture of the two soldiers who came to help in this serious accident.

Namely, members of the 4th pbr artillery battalion Livač in Mostar immediately came to the aid of the injured driver and called the police and firefighters.

As Boloban said, without thinking, they went towards the victims to help them.

“We approached when we saw that there was a person in one of the cars who was showing signs of life, and unfortunately the other person was not showing signs of life. We decided to help the injured driver and gave him first aid. We pulled him out of the vehicle, gave him water , washed and bandaged his shoulder.

Afterwards, they took him to the Mostar hospital, as they told us, his life is not in danger,” Boloban said.

This is another confirmation that the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina wear the uniform of our army for a reason and that they are ready at any moment to help the injured citizens.
