The Solemn Opening of the First Students Residency of the UWC Mostar

phoca_thumb_l_residential-life-11 UWCOn Tuesday, September 9th, beginning at 11:00 o’clock, a solemn opening of the first students residency of the UWC (United World Colleges) in Mostar will be open.

A great number of friends of the UWC Mostar, the mayor of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić, the representative of the German Embassy in B&H Jens Wagner will attend the opening.

The residency “Mejdan” is located in the old post’s building at the address Trg 1. maja. The building currently has 37 rooms for students, and the funds to buy and renew the building were ensured by the German Ministry of foreign affairs, the Heidehof Foundation and private donators.

The “Mejdan”residency is the first out of several buildings that the UWC Mostar plans to renew in the years to come. – was announced from the UWC Mostar.
