The men’s handball team of B&H beat Greece with the score of 28:23 (13:10) in the first of two matches for the prequalification for the European Championships 2016 in Poland.
The B&H handball players continue this season of good results, after securing a spot in the January qualifications for the World Cup 2015 in Qatar.
Goalie Benjamin Burić was the best player with 15 defenses, of which 12 were in the first half. Nikola Prca had five points and Dejan Malinović and Muhamed Toromanović had four goals each.
The coach of the B&H team said that the Greeks would not give up in the rematch, which will take place on 10 April in Cazin.
‘’I expect a difficult match. We cannot slacken. We have to be serious. We expect great support from the fans’’, said coach Marković.
