mostar3Solution for Mostar must be found, which will provide for the city to be integral and in which collective and individual rights of citizens and peoples will be protected – said yesterday in Mostar BiH Presidency Chairman, Bakir Izetbegovic, ahead of a meeting with the Mayor of the City, Ljubo Beslic.

Asked if there is any agreements regarding Mostar, Izetbegovic said that recently there have been no specific agreements.

“It’s easy to say, but obviously it is not easy to find a solution” Izetbegovic said, noting that there are commitments from the Washington and the Dayton Agreements.  He said that Mostar, but also entire BiH, needs revival of economy, adding that this issue must be a priority today, but over the next four years, too.

“I think that we will soon solve the issue regarding the completion of  the “Ruza” hotel and the one regarding “HEPOK”company because people living in Mostar need jobs” Izetbegovic said.

Mostar Mayor Ljubo Beslic said he hopes Sarajevo will help Mostar in economic terms as much as possible. To remind, Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, attended yesterday in Mostar the opening ceremony of the new school building in Zalik, and besides Mostar, he visited Konjic as well.
