The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesić, announced that an integrated system of joint toll collection will soon be established with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Greece, as it was recently with North Macedonia.
“With Croatia, we have come a long way in that matter, as well as with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and soon I will discuss this with my Greek colleague,” Vesić said, and added that the integrated toll collection system with North Macedonia is working perfectly.
Vesić stated that the reconfiguration of the “tag” implies the transition to a “postpaid” payment system, i.e. instead of citizens paying money to the “tag”, which is still possible and valid only for Serbia, they need to tie it to a payment card.
“It takes five minutes. With such a “tag” you can pass through all nine toll booths in North Macedonia. If you already have money on the “tag”, it will be returned to your account,” Vesić said.
