The US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the adoption of a set of important energy laws in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Yesterday the Federation’s House of Representatives passed a set of important energy reform laws that will directly benefit citizens by strengthening consumer protections and simplifying procedures around small-scale production of electricity and renewable energy, among other benefits,” the US Embassy stated on its Twitter.

The Embassy stated that The United States is proud to have supported the drafting of these laws through USAID BIH technical energy experts.

“We look forward to seeing the FBiH House of Peoples swiftly adopt these laws, which will bring more stability and efficiency to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s energy sector,” it is said in the statement.
